Water Damage Repair and Rebuild Across the East Valley
After the drying, a house is left with cut drywall, bare slab and missing cabinets. Tri Point puts the rooms back together under its KB-1 building license, so the company that tore it out is the one that finishes it.

Repair & rebuild
What does water damage repair cover?
It’s the rebuild side of the job: putting back the drywall, texture, paint, baseboards, flooring and cabinets that had to come out so the house could dry. Some jobs are a single wall. Others are a whole bathroom, laundry room or kitchen. Nothing gets closed up until the framing behind it reads dry.
- Drywall hanging, texture and paint
- Tile, vinyl plank and carpet
- Base cabinets and vanities
- Baseboards, doors and trim
- Bathroom and laundry room rebuilds
- Ceilings after roof or plumbing leaks
- Change orders while walls are open
Tri Point Services LLC holds Arizona contractor license ROC 335008 (KB-1 Dual Building Contractor).
Good to know
Why have one company handle the cleanup and the rebuild?
Because the people who opened the walls know exactly what came out and why. There’s no second contractor to bring in and no fresh walkthrough to explain the damage all over again. Adam oversees every project, and Keith LaCombe and Laura Young both describe the same team doing the demo and the reconstruction.
Getting ready to put the house back together?
- Make sure the drying was signed off with readings, not just a dry-looking wall.
- Check with your insurer before any permanent repairs begin.
- Pick flooring, paint and cabinet finishes early so materials can be ordered.
- If your HOA reviews exterior changes, ask early whether any of the work needs approval.
- Call (623) 288-5596 and we’ll go room by room through what needs rebuilding.
The rules
When does an Arizona repair job need a licensed contractor?
Once it goes past the small-job handyman exemption, or whenever it needs a building permit, no matter the cost. The Arizona Registrar of Contractors says either one means the work requires a license. Tri Point Services LLC holds ROC 335008, an active KB-1 Dual Building Contractor license, with Adam Kriloff as qualifying party.
KB-1Dual Building Contractor, ROC record active
KB-1 is a dual license, covering residential and commercial building, which is what lets one company carry a job from tear-out to a finished room. You can pull up the record yourself on the ROC contractor search, and the ROC lays out the handyman rule in Contracting in Arizona: what you need to know. If the repair is part of an insurance claim, check with your insurer before permanent work begins.

From a customer
What do customers say about the finished rebuild?
That they couldn’t tell anything had happened. Robin Evans wrote, “When all was fixed and finished you would never know there was damage.” Jess said, “I could not even tell that there was work done.” Seong Kim had drywall work done and “couldn’t be happier with the finished product,” and Laura Young wrote that the reconstruction “looks great.”
“Adam Kriloff and his team at Tri-Point Services did an amazing job with our home remodel! Adam was honest and demonstrated integrity and professionalism in all of our interactions. Tri-Point Services delivered top-notch work and never cut corners on our remodel. Adam was extremely patient with us as we requested several change orders to get our home exactly how we wanted it. We highly recommend Tri-Point Services!”
FAQ
Water Damage Repair Questions
Who does the work in my house?
Adam Kriloff, the owner, oversees every project. Reviewers have named two of the people on the work: Keith LaCombe wrote about “the contractor Nelson who performed the labor and demo,” and a reviewer named barbara wrote that “Jefferson did a great job.” Keith also said Nelson made sure his work was right before leaving.
Can I make changes or upgrades while the walls are open?
Yes, and it’s often the easiest time to do it. Changing the flooring, the tile or the vanity is simpler to plan now than after the drywall is finished and painted. Justin Bradshaw wrote that Adam was “extremely patient with us as we requested several change orders to get our home exactly how we wanted it.”
How do you match the texture and paint on the walls?
Arizona homes commonly have knockdown or orange peel texture, and a patch only disappears when the texture and paint match the wall around it. The new board gets textured to match, then painted far enough out that the repair blends in. Jess wrote that “Everything looked like original.”
What flooring goes back in after a water loss?
Usually whatever you had, unless you want a change. Tile set on the slab often survives once the grout and setting bed have dried, while vinyl plank, laminate and carpet over pad usually need replacing after a soaking. The owner’s reply to Dioscilla Judd mentions a floors job where “your floors turned out looking amazing.”
Do you work with my insurance company on the rebuild?
Yes. Laura Young wrote that Adam “did a lot of back and forth with our insurance, which we were grateful to not have to do.” Your insurer decides what is covered. Our side is documenting the damage and the repair work and keeping the adjuster up to date as rooms get finished.
